RUBI’s objective is to maintain and strengthen its technological leadership by means of a strong commitment to research, innovation, design and development. Therefore, RUBI products are devised from a design and creativity standpoint by a multidisciplinary team of engineers, with direct involvement from industry professionals from various countries. At the group’s headquarters in Rubí, near Barcelona, the teams of engineers benefit from the most advanced technology so as to give them the best development tools. It is in this environment where RUBI products are devised innovatively and creatively, with the priority of satisfying the needs of professionals in the most practical, durable and competitive way possible. In addition to significant annual investment in R&D&I and our own high-performance equipment, RUBI also regularly collaborates with international technology centres of renowned prestige in order to encourage innovation in the latest technologies available. Besides the usual industrial design criteria related to ergonomics and functionality, the design requirements of RUBI products also include sustainability and low environmental impact. Once they have been designed and tested in real market situations, all RUBI products are certified by international bodies and their design is protected legally as part of the group’s industrial and intellectual protection plan.

With over 30,000 points of sale around the world, RUBI products are currently present in the main chains of various distribution channels. This capillary action in the markets is precisely what has made RUBI a renowned brand that is in touch with its users. To that end, in order to facilitate selling our products at all points of sale, RUBI concentrates part of its work on providing its customers with any tools that will help to make the point of sale more dynamic and profitable. In terms of different promotion methods, RUBI has always made continuous efforts in the area of product demonstrations on-site, at points of sale and at trade shows around the world, with the help of its sales teams and numerous RUBI mobile units. LOGISTICS AND SERVICE CAPACITY
With a total area of 27,000 m2, the group’s logistics centre features the most advanced technology in stock and order management, enabling picking and packing operations to be as fast and efficient as possible. A large part of the group’s logistics capacity is based on the operation of its automated warehouse, also located in the logistics centre. This warehouse, which has a large capacity and high management speed, gives the centre excellent service responsiveness, with a maximum order management volume that makes it possible to maintain outstanding service ratios. This also allows the main western markets to be serviced directly from this centre. In addition to the high service capacity of the corporate logistics centre, there are also various group subsidiaries with their own buffer warehouses that give them the benefit of proximity to their markets. The subsidiaries in China, Poland, the UK, Canada and the US have their own stock that allows them to provide rapid, flexible service to their local markets. The group’s significant investment both in stock and logistics facilities clearly illustrates just how important customer service is to RUBI.

The production plants of Germans Boada, S.A. feature a higly efficient and flexible production process that is one-of-a-kind in the manufacturing of construction tools. In order to ensure that all processes comply with the brand’s quality standards, RUBI takes thorough care over quality in each of its production processes. The different production areas combine high-productivity fully automated processes with highly technical semi-automated lines attended by qualified staff trained to comprehensively check each unit. The various assembly lines are subjected to continuous improvement processes seeking maximum productivity, optimal flexibility and excellent end quality. Strict quality checks, continuous improvement of internal processes and systematic introduction of the most modern manufacturing, management and controlprocesses allow RUBI to hold various international quality certifications. The group’s production ability and quality is reinforced by close collaboration with the best external suppliers specialising in the transformation of different raw materials.
